You’re not alone β every agent we work with in Greenville and Eastern NC feels the same way. They know the value of consistent video, but the actual doing of it always seems to lose to the next call or showing. That’s exactly the gap Claude Code closes for you here.

Who This Is For
If you’re the relationship-first agent everyone in Greenville and Pitt County already knows, this is your play. And if you’re building a distinct local brand and you’re tired of watching a newer agent in Greenville posting the exact same content you’re too busy to make, this is how you get found by Pitt County buyers who type your name into Google.
What It Actually Does
Here’s the part that actually matters if you’re short on time. You don’t have to build anything, download anything, or open anything besides the app you already have. You shoot the video, you type out the caption, and then you run this skill. You tell it which video you want to edit, and you tell it what you want it to do β ‘make it faster,’ ‘add a logo,’ ‘add a caption,’ ‘all of the above.’ And then you go make another call. By the time you’re done, the edited version is sitting in your shared folder, ready to post. If you want to see it before it goes out, there’s a preview step you can approve manually.

How You Set It Up
Here’s the actual setup, because we run this on our own business every week. A Google Chrome window opens Claude Code and loads the job. It’s called ‘Reel Automation’ and it’s set up as a recurring job β the same instructions run every Monday morning, without us remembering to open anything. On our desktop, there’s a shortcut to that job. One click, and the instructions are already loaded. If we wanted to run it early or on a different day, we’d just open the shortcut and change the schedule inside Claude Code before saving. The actual instructions are short, because they’re mostly calling other things we’ve already set up. They start by opening a second window β a saved workflow in CapCut, the video editing app, set up with our own branding and screen recording already configured. That workflow is what actually does the editing, and it runs unattended β it’s saving a finished video to a specific folder on our computer while we’re doing something else. The only thing the automation fills in each week is the headline, so the file name matches the current topic. Back in Claude Code, the only other thing that changes from one week to the next is a single line that tells the system which topic to pull β this week it’s ‘computer vs electric heat,’ next week it might be something else, and we just update that one line. Everything else is the same every Monday. When that job finishes running, there’s a finished, named video sitting in the right folder, ready to upload. And the upload is the second half of the automation, which runs separately β it’s set up as a separate job in Claude Code that we can run from the same shortcut any time we want. That job does two things, one after the other, without us touching anything in between. First, it opens the upload screen for our Instagram business account, and then it tells that screen to find the most recent, correctly-named video and upload it. It doesn’t upload a different video by accident, and it doesn’t upload a draft β it looks for the right file every time, and the headline is already correct because it’s the same one that was used to name the video when it was saved. Once that upload starts, the job closes itself, and the video goes live on our account without us watching it happen. So even if we get pulled into a call or a showing while it’s uploading, it still goes out on schedule.
How It Gets You Found
Here’s the part that actually matters if you’re trying to be found, and it’s the opposite of what most agents do online.
When Google or Instagram is showing results to somebody in your area, they don’t care about how many posts you’ve published or how big your following is.
They care about two things, and they both come down to the same thing: is this a real local business, run by a real person, who’s actually in the room with the client and actually knows the market?
That’s it.
That’s the whole thing you’re trying to answer, over and over, every time you put something out there.
And here’s the part nobody tells you: you don’t have to answer it with a perfectly written post. You answer it by stacking up a bunch of little things, published consistently, over time, and your own website is the thing that keeps the whole stack standing up.
Every video you publish, every post you type out, every listing you put up β all of it goes onto your own website, where it can’t disappear because a platform changed its algorithm.
And the target isn’t ‘get found by Google.’ The target is get found by the person who’s actually searching, the person who’s thinking about moving or knows someone who is, and that search can be typed into Google or spoken into a phone, and the answer that comes back is not an agent’s website, the answer is a list of agents, and you get put on that list by being the one who shows up the most, the most consistently, with the highest signal-to-noise ratio, and that showing up is not about posting more than anybody else.
It is about publishing with a map, so every post pulls the same direction instead of bouncing off in 10 different directions, and that map is not something you draw out on paper.
It is the real map that already exists, the actual geography of where people live, where they work, where they vacation, and your content follows that map instead of wandering off into whatever topic happened to catch your eye this week.
The 4 ways we do this, across all 4 platforms, are the same 4 ways we’ve been teaching for years, and if you’ve watched any of our other episodes you’ve already seen them.
On Instagram and TikTok, the first way is the one we just showed you β the before-and-after series, where one before picture always leads to the next after picture, and every post in the series reinforces the same before-after pattern.

What It Means For You
If you’re pushing for volume, this is how you get consistent, high-quality video content without spending hours in front of a screen. If your business runs on relationships, this is how you stay top of mind with your sphere without becoming the annoying friend who always posts about real estate. And if you’re building a brand, this is how you define your branding and your look, so people start recognizing your content from a block away before they’ve ever met you.
If you want help setting up something like this in your own business, we do a free 15-minute call β just go to the link in the description and book a time. The free starter skills are open-source on GitHub β that link’s in the description too, along with a free guide on how to run them yourself. What It Frees You Up To Do
So the real value here isn’t just a finished reel β it’s what you get back that can’t be bought: time you didn’t spend editing, revenue-producing hours you got back instead of a side job, and consistent branding you didn’t have to think about, running in the background of every video automatically.
If you’re pushing for volume, every hour on a computer is an hour off the market. If you’re building a brand, every consistent post is another touch, and touches add up to trust.
Either way, you’re not handing off a one-off project β you’re outsourcing a recurring task, the same way you’d hire out a cleaning or a payroll run.
You pay for it once, and then your own time goes back to whatever only you can do.

What To Do First
If you’re short on time, this is what you do first: open the Claude Code extension, type ‘edit my reel,’ and tell it which one you want β the handle and the word ‘reel’ are enough. It will open the right project, load the right clip, and drop you exactly where the editing starts β the intro, the first beat, the second beat, whichever one’s due this week, without you ever opening CapCut or digging through folders looking for anything.
This isn’t just a shortcut to the right file β it’s what lets you work from a script even if you’ve never written a script before. The first thing it does is translate whatever you typed into a real editing task, the same way a photographer’s assistant hands the right lens to the photographer who just said ‘zoom.’ You don’t have to know the name of the beat or the technical instruction for where it goes; you just tell it what you want in plain English, and it builds the move and places it.
The second thing is the big one, and it’s what makes this useful even if you already know how to edit. Once you’ve reviewed the edit in CapCut and it’s the way you want it, you close it and walk away β you don’t touch the file again, you don’t save anything, you don’t back it up, you don’t give it a name. It saves itself, in the cloud, automatically, every single time you hit ‘done.’ So you never lose a version, you never need a flash drive, and you never have to remember to back something up β the back-up is built into the process instead of being something you have to remember to do.
The third thing is my favorite. Because it saves every version into the same project, you’re never more than two clicks away from going back to anything you’ve ever made β not just the last one, not just the current one, every single one of them. That’s what lets you borrow a setup from an older reel and re-use it on a new one, instead of rebuilding it from scratch every time β and it’s also what lets you go back and remake something you made months ago, if you’re rewatching your old content and think a certain clip deserves a re-do.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I set up the reel automation to run on my own schedule?
You open Claude Code and load the “Reel Automation” job, which is set up as a recurring job that runs every Monday morning without you having to remember to open anything. You can create a desktop shortcut to that job, and if you want to run it early or on a different day, you just open the shortcut and change the schedule inside Claude Code before saving.
What happens after the video finishes editing?
Once the edited video is finished and saved to your folder, a separate automation job in Claude Code handles the uploadβit opens your Instagram business account upload screen and finds the most recent, correctly-named video to upload automatically. The video goes live on your account without you having to watch it happen, so even if you get pulled into a call or showing, it still posts on schedule.
How does posting consistent video content help me get found by local buyers?
Google and Instagram show results to people in your area based on whether you’re a real local business run by a real person who knows the marketβnot on how many followers you have. By publishing consistently over time with content that follows a geographic map of your actual market instead of random topics, you show up more in local searches and build trust through repeated touches that add up over months.
