Picture this: you sit down with a brand-new listing, and before your coffee is gone, Claude has written your MLS description, drafted a matching social caption, and pulled a market analysis from real numbers — every bit of it Fair-Housing compliant, and every bit of it free. No new subscription. No code. That is exactly what these Claude skills do for real estate agents, and this page walks you through getting them running even if you have never touched anything technical in your life.
Everything here is free and open-source. Watch the quick video below, then follow the steps — most agents are up and running in about fifteen minutes. Brand new to Claude? Our plain-English beginner guide for real estate agents is a good first stop.

What you get, for free
These are four ready-to-use Claude skills, built by Al and Victoria Pinder for real estate agents. Install them once and they are yours to use as often as you like, at no cost. Here is what each one does for you:
- Listing Description — You give Claude the basics of a property (address, beds, baths, a few features) and you get back polished, Fair-Housing-compliant MLS remarks plus a short social caption to match. What used to take twenty minutes of writing and second-guessing is done in seconds, and it is written to stay compliant. (See how it works.)
- Connect MLS to Claude — This one lets you bring your own MLS and county data into Claude so it works from your real numbers instead of guessing. Once it is connected, Claude can build market reports, run comps, and analyze a listing from the actual data. This is the piece most agents are missing, and the video above walks through this free listing and MLS plan. (See how it works.)
- Fair Housing Overlay — The compliance foundation. You load it alongside the other skills and it keeps every description, caption, and report Fair-Housing compliant automatically — so everything Claude writes for you is safe to publish.
- Quick Start: 3 Wins — Three done-for-you workflows you can run on day one. This is how you get three finished, usable results in your first fifteen minutes and see for yourself what Claude can do.
That is the full free set. You never pay for these, and you can use them on every listing you take.
Never done anything like this? Start here.
You do not need to be technical and you do not need to know how to code. If you can send a text message, you can do this. There are only two ideas to understand first, and then five short steps.
What is Claude Code? Claude is the AI assistant (like ChatGPT, made by a company called Anthropic). Claude Code is a free app you install on your computer that lets Claude do real work for you — write documents, read your files, run these skills — instead of just chatting in a web browser. It is what makes the skills on this page actually run.
What is GitHub? GitHub is simply a free, public website where code and tools live out in the open — think of it as a public library shelf for software. Our skills sit on that shelf so anyone can grab them. You do not need to know how to code, and you do not even need a GitHub account, because Claude Code pulls the skills off that shelf for you. (If you are curious and want to look at the code yourself one day, a free account takes about a minute — but that is entirely optional.)
Now the five steps:
- Download Claude Code (free). Go to claude.ai/download, install the app, and open it. Sign in with a Claude account — you can start free. This is a one-time setup.
- Add our skills. Inside Claude Code there is a place to type. Paste this first line and press enter:
/plugin marketplace add TheProsperityAgent/prosperity-real-estate-skills
That tells Claude Code where our skills live. Then paste this second line and press enter:
/plugin install real-estate-skills@prosperity-real-estate-skills
That actually installs them. You only do this once — after that the skills are always there. - Turn on the Fair Housing guardrail. Load the Fair Housing Overlay so it runs alongside everything else. It works quietly in the background and keeps every listing and caption compliant. Leave it on all the time. A good habit: before you post anything, ask Claude “Check this description for Fair Housing compliance,” and it will flag anything risky.
- Tell Claude what you want — in plain English. You never memorize commands and you never type code. Two easy ways to use a skill:
- Type
/and a menu of your installed skills appears — click one, like/quick-start-3-wins. - Or just write what you need in a sentence, for example: “Use the listing description skill for 123 Main St, 3 bed, 2 bath, updated kitchen, big fenced backyard.” Claude writes the MLS remarks and the caption for you.
Here is another you can copy: “Using my connected MLS data, give me a market analysis for single-family homes in Winterville under $400k.”
- Type
- Run your first three wins. Type
/quick-start-3-winsand follow the prompts — it hands you three ready-to-use tasks, like a listing description, a market snapshot, and a social caption. In a few minutes you will have three finished, compliant results in your hands — the fastest way to see this working on your own listings.
Prefer to see the code first, or want your own copy? Everything is public and free here: github.com/TheProsperityAgent/prosperity-real-estate-skills. If you are comfortable with a computer you can also copy it directly with git clone https://github.com/TheProsperityAgent/prosperity-real-estate-skills.git — but the five steps above are all most agents ever need.
A quick word on compliance
Every skill here is built to be Fair-Housing compliant by default. That means no steering language and nothing that could put your listing or your license at risk — the compliance is baked in so you can move fast and stay safe. The Fair Housing Overlay is the foundation, and it is the reason you can trust what Claude hands you.
Questions agents ask
Are these Claude skills really free?
Yes. All four skills are free and open-source, and you can use them on every listing you take. There is nothing to buy to run them yourself.
Do I need to know how to code to use them?
No. You never write a single line of code. You install the skills once with two copy-and-paste lines, then you ask Claude what you want in plain English — the same way you would text your assistant.
What is Claude Code, and is Claude free to start?
Claude is an AI assistant made by Anthropic. Claude Code is the free app you install from claude.ai/download that lets Claude run these skills on your computer. You can start on Claude’s free plan; heavier daily use has paid plans, but you do not need one to try the skills.
How do I install a Claude skill?
Inside Claude Code, paste /plugin marketplace add TheProsperityAgent/prosperity-real-estate-skills, then /plugin install real-estate-skills@prosperity-real-estate-skills. That is the whole install, and you only do it once.
Are AI-written listings Fair Housing compliant?
With the Fair Housing Overlay loaded alongside your other skills, every description and caption is written to be Fair-Housing compliant by default. It is built in, so what Claude hands you is safe to publish.
Where do the skills live?
In our free public repository: github.com/TheProsperityAgent/prosperity-real-estate-skills. Want the bigger picture of what Claude can do for agents? See 15 Claude skills for real estate agents and every AI tool we run and what it costs.
Want the version that runs without you?
The four skills above are the free set that you run yourself, whenever you sit down at the keyboard. There is also a level that runs on its own: automated lead follow-up the moment a new lead comes in, your market and listing content created and scheduled for you, a compliance check on every piece before it goes out, and your CRM and social tools wired together so they finally talk to each other. That is the full stack Al and Victoria run — you can see the whole stack here — and they set it up hands-on with the agents who partner with them. Book a call and we will get it running in your business.
